Giorgio Armani - Acqua di Gio

I've worn ADG for years. As a teen back in the early 2000's I had a bottle from a birthday. I enjoyed it for a couple summers. It's a fantastic scent. However recently getting back into fragrances I was so disappointed with ADG's performance. It had non of the projection or longevity I remembered. Part of me wondered if my sense of smell has just been blunted from excessive drinking. But when I sprayed on a sample of the Lidl clone in the supermarket I was instantly transported back to my teens wearing Hawaiian shirts and summers stretching on forever but also somehow seeming to fly by in the blink of an eye. I think Acqua fresh is better performing than the real ADG! And smells more like the pre reformulation version too.

Didn't realise that this was a male fragrance, have been happily wearing it for months. A good scent for summer.

Great frag. I am someone who likes fragrances and do not judge them by the price too much.

However I could not expect that a 5eur bottle of this would actually smell so good. I bought it in Spain when I was Tenerife.

The resemblence to Aqua di Gio is uncanny, however LIDL version/interpretation is slightly weaker which is not a bad thing. I had to buy another bottle.

I was trully surprised as I could not expect such quality and performance from a sub 10 eur frag. After this one I have bought another LIDL frag called Victory which is it's take on Invictus. I do like Aqua fresh a lot more though. After shower, gym, to work or anywhere else - nobody will know it's a LIDL frag :D you will get compliments also. Crazy stuff.

Love the original and wear it as my main, thought I would give this a try as a bit of a giggle while in Lidl.
Blown away by its similarity to ADGio and the wife loved it, so bought on the spot. Lasts for a good 4 or 5 hours, usually wear it for work but did use it for a while when I ran out of original and women commented on it more than the actual gio

80% of the experience of Acqua di Gio, Approximately 10% of the price. Not a cheap-looking bottle either. You do the maths! in a word "excellent".

Knowing quite well how Giorgio Armani's Acqua Di Gio smells, I bought a bottle on Thursday, used it to the office on Friday and got asked many times what fragrance I was wearing, lasting over 9hrs and smelling very much like the real article...you guessed right...I rushed back to my local Lidl to stash more bottles..you're right again...it had sold out.

Just found this page, I buy 5 every time, when I 1st got this I had compliments all day women and Men I did not know what it was like but have to agree ADG I empty a whole bottle into a jar and let the alcohol evaporate halfway and then put into another bottle, its super nice then ( takes about 3 days but worth the little effort as it lasts all day, once had someone grab my arm in Tesco to ask me what I was wearing random, £1.99 Savers, just found another shop hat sells others fantastic price, just have to go over the top with it to keep it going all day. spray it back of the knees, nape of neck and lower back then put your shirt on :)

Just bought this at Savers discount stores for £1.99 I must say that it is a very faithful replica of Acqua di Gio by Armani. For the money you are being asked to spend you simply can't complain. Five stars.

Great long lasting fragrance that smells just like Aqua Di gio, EDP too rather than EDT

I bought it from Zara by chance for 19.00 USD.
I can say that it was 95% same of Aqua Di gio, i was Amazed it lasted for 12 hours!

I got thhis a couple of weeks ago. Its smells nice similar to Acqua di gio. However I dont know if the one i have is Damage - the edt sprays like deodorant rather than the real EDT however for the price I cant complain

Having a nose like a ferret can sometimes be a curse but in this case I can give a fair opinion. On application I thought it was familiar but a little sharp - then it settles into an excellent facsimile. It has a really long lasting quality. The hubster will be getting this one from now on.

I have used aqua di gio for many years and I have to say that this is as good as it can get and a 10th of the cost. You will not be dissapointed

Its worth wearing acqua di gio. I personally love it, sometimes girls around me just can't resist. I bet it is an awesome option for men out there.

Just like the real deal! I was wearing this most of the time as a daily scent, but found myself getting through too many bottles, now I keep it in my gym bag for the evenings. Really fresh smelling.

Smell similar like the original, but doest last as long as the original. Quite good one.

Aqua de omerta is supposed to be there aqua de gio clone. Maybe this is supposed to be a Versace pour homme dupe looking at the note's. This has a nice citrus on top followed by a musk drydown longevity is only 2 to 3 hours. it's a pleasant enough fragrance .
best for a quick freshen up or a gym fragrance.

Very refreshing in the begining, similar to aqua di gio the fragrance only lasts 3 to 4 hours and projects for maybe half an hour. I don't detect any of the base note's listed in the fragrance ok for a quick freshen up and its dirt cheap.
